Senior Operations Manager

A high-achieving and ambitious individual is required to take on a senior leadership role.

The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the running of our laboratory and consulting services, managing projects, business development, staff management, and strategic planning.

This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong leadership skills, excellent communication abilities, and a passion for delivering exceptional results.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project management - managing operations, overseeing works, resource allocation
  • Systems and procedures management - develop policies and procedures, oversee NATA accreditation, and system improvement
  • Staff management - manage and support direct reports, foster intentional communication across all reporting lines and teams
  • Business development - build and maintain client relationships, solicit new business opportunities
  • Financial management - oversee billing, financial reporting, and financial planning
  • Leadership and development - lead the organization, champion its culture and strategic objectives
Requirements:
  • Laboratory management, occupational health, or similar experience required
  • Experience with NATA/ISO and QMS/QA/QC required
  • Project management experience highly advantageous
  • Self-motivated and able to work efficiently without direct supervision to complete duties
  • Australian Driver's Licence and Right to Work in Australia
