Personal Care Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Personal Care Assistant to provide high-quality care to clients living in their own homes. This is a rewarding role that requires a genuine commitment to supporting individuals with their daily needs and improving their overall quality of life.

The successful candidate will be responsible for providing personal care services, including showering, dressing, and grooming, as well as assisting with meal preparation and household tasks. They will also transport clients to appointments and other destinations, ensuring they have access to essential services and activities.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide person-centred care to clients, promoting independence and dignity at all times.
  • Assist clients with daily living tasks, such as bathing, dressing, and grooming.
  • Prepare and cook meals for clients, taking into account their dietary needs and preferences.
  • Transport clients to appointments and other destinations, using a safe and reliable vehicle.
Requirements:
  • Certificate III Aged Care or Individual Support, or an equivalent qualification.
  • Current Australian Driver's Licence (Green Provisional minimum).
  • Roadworthy and insured vehicle to use for work.
  • Experience working with technology, including smartphones and laptops.
  • Ability to satisfy relevant probity checks.
