Job Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Carpentry Trainer and Assessor to join our team. As a key member of our faculty, you will play a vital role in delivering high-quality training and assessment services to our international cohort.

The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in carpentry and vocational education, with recent experience teaching in the VET sector. They will also have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as a proven ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Deliver classroom and practical face-to-face training to students
  • Assess student competency in accordance with ASQA requirements
  • Develop and maintain course materials and resources
  • Collaborate with colleagues to ensure consistency and quality in training and assessment practices

Requirements:

  • Certificate III in Carpentry or equivalent
  • Diploma of Building and Construction (Building) or equivalent
  • Certificate IV in Training and Assessment or higher
  • Recent experience teaching in the VET sector
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
