About the Company

We are seeking an experienced Project Planning Expert to join our team in Brisbane, responsible for developing schedules and controlling project timelines.

The Role

  • Ensure overall schedules and plans are achieved to a high standard.
  • Respond immediately to changes to ensure projects are completed on time and within scope.
  • Support the project team in preparing schedules and providing up-to-date data for project activity management.
  • Develop and maintain project planning procedures, work practices, plans, systems, and protocols.
  • Analyse scope changes and schedule trends to recommend actions or alternate execution options.
  • Confirm implementation approaches and controls are reasonable and effective.
  • Communicate with clients and project managers on matters affecting project goals.

Requirements

  • Minimum 10+ years of experience in lead/planning roles in design, procurement, and construction phases of projects.
  • Engineering qualification, trade background, or equivalent experience in engineering and/or construction fields.
  • Previous experience in EPC and EPCM environments, working with various stakeholders.
  • High attention to detail and knowledge of project planning and management tools like Primavera.
  • Able to read and interpret design deliverables, prepare accurate schedules, and reports.
  • Able to prepare commissioning, shutdown, and tie-in planning.
  • Demonstrated success influencing diverse stakeholders.

Estimated Salary: $120,000 - $180,000 per annum
