Job Description

RSPCA Queensland is a community-based charity dedicated to improving the lives of domestic, farmed, and native animals in Queensland. Our mission statement is simple yet powerful: Together We Change Lives.

About the role:

You will be responsible for ensuring all employees across the state are paid accurately and on time. Your key duties include:

  • Processing fortnightly payroll in accordance with relevant CAs, Awards, and Individual contracts.
  • Interpreting awards and enterprise agreements.
  • Maintaining accurate and up-to-date payroll and employee files.
  • Liaising with relevant authorities to ensure all payroll legislative paperwork is lodged.
  • Ensuring payroll databases are well maintained and up to date.
  • Managing payroll reporting and statutory requirements.
  • Preparing Workcover Insurance claims.

About You:

We are seeking a candidate with excellent computer skills, attention to detail, ability to be discreet, time management, and sound working knowledge of current payroll and industrial relations, including Award interpretation. Experience with Time and Attendance software is an advantage. Strong organizational skills and ability to work unsupervised are essential.
