Key Responsibilities

Lead a team of mechanical and process engineers in delivering complex mining and infrastructure projects, including mineral processing, bulk materials handling, tailings systems, mine water, site services, and maintenance facilities.

  • Deliver projects across multiple disciplines, ensuring timely completion and client satisfaction.
  • Mentor and develop engineers through WSP's Thrive program, promoting growth and excellence within the team.
  • Prepare project proposals, estimates, budgets, and schedules, driving innovation and continuous improvement in engineering practices.
  • Cultivate and manage client relationships, fostering strong partnerships and exceeding expectations.
About You

To succeed as our Mechanical Team Lead, you should possess:

  • A bachelor's degree in mechanical engineering or equivalent qualification.
  • At least 10 years' experience as a mechanical engineer, preferably in consulting and mining.
  • A natural problem-solver with leadership skills, capable of guiding teams and supporting individual growth.
