We are seeking an Internal Communications Specialist who will play a key role in developing and implementing effective communications strategies that support the needs of our business areas and drive strategic initiatives.

The successful candidate will have exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to communicate complex messages clearly and effectively to a range of audiences. They will also be able to tailor their communications and story angles to suit the audience and channel.

This is a full-time opportunity based at our Support HUB in Geelong, with flexible working arrangements available. A competitive remuneration package will be offered commensurate with experience.

About the Role

This role requires the ability to build effective working relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders, including colleagues and external partners. The successful candidate will be able to work effectively as a member of a collaborative team, with a high level of initiative and self-motivation to achieve outcomes.

  • Develop and implement well-considered communications strategies to support the communication needs of business areas and drive strategic initiatives
  • Create high-quality content and implement communications to ensure message cut through and a high level of staff engagement
  • Work collaboratively with key stakeholders to identify and assess opportunities and develop effective solutions
Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualifications in PR or Communications
  • Demonstrated experience in a similar role
  • Current NDIS Worker Screening Check or willingness to obtain
  • Current NDIS Worker Orientation Module certificate or willingness to obtain
