The St George Christian School is seeking a seasoned Finance Manager to drive its financial operations forward. This role involves strategic financial planning, budgeting, and financial reporting.

Key Tasks:

  1. Lead accounting functions, including accounts payable, fee processing, debt collection, payroll, superannuation, BAS, and bank reconciliation.
  2. Collaborate with the Principal and School Board to develop and implement the annual budget.
  3. Prepare comprehensive financial reports for stakeholders.
  4. Monitor cash flow and financial performance.
  5. Manage federal and state funding reporting and accountability requirements.
  6. Coordinate staff recruitment, contracts, and payroll processes.
  7. Provide accurate financial data for audits.

Necessary Skills:

  • Postgraduate degree in business administration, finance, or a related field (CPA essential).
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in senior financial roles, preferably in education or non-profit environments.
  • Expertise in financial management, budgeting, and accounting principles.
  • Outstanding organizational skills, time management, and teamwork capabilities.
