About the Role

As a Strategic Finance Leader, you will play a pivotal part in driving improved business performance by providing financial guidance and insights to senior stakeholders. Your expertise will be instrumental in developing robust business cases with clear strategic and financial rationale to inform decision-making on spend and critical investments.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead financial analysis and support the business in developing key indicators to measure performance against directorate objectives.
  • Work closely with the broader Finance team to develop and implement strategies to reduce expenditure and optimize revenue.
  • Identify opportunities to achieve financial sustainability objectives and partner with directorates to implement and measure success.
  • Facilitate the annual recurrent and capital budget planning process.

About You

To succeed in this role, you will require tertiary qualifications in accounting, business, commerce or a relevant discipline, along with membership of an appropriate professional accounting body or equivalent relevant experience. You should have demonstrated experience (5-years minimum) in management accounting or finance business partnering within a large, complex organization.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • Tertiary qualifications in accounting, business, commerce or other relevant discipline.
  • Demonstrated experience in management accounting or finance business partnering.
  • Membership of an appropriate professional accounting body.
  • Strong analytical skills and ability to conduct financial analysis using various statistical techniques.
  • Excellent interpersonal and stakeholder communications skills.
