Key responsibilities include:

  • Preparing and managing leases and licenses for City-owned properties
  • Providing guidance to asset owners on property matters
  • Supporting general property matters, including debtors and creditors
  • Assisting in communication processes with the public regarding property assets

The ideal candidate will have relevant experience and knowledge of leasing procedures, market analysis, reporting, letter writing, and property matters in a commercial setting. You will be eager to promote a positive and professional image of the City by maintaining good relationships with the community and stakeholders, understanding customer needs, and providing clear, accurate, and timely advice.

About You

We are looking for a highly skilled and experienced Property Services Officer who possesses:

  • Qualifications in Property Services or Property Valuation or similar
  • Current experience and knowledge of leasing, valuation, and property matters in a commercial setting
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, including good negotiation skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and time management skills

What's on Offer

We offer a competitive salary package, including:

  • Starting salary from $82,000
  • Permanent Full Time 35 hours per week
  • Brand new office location at Yarrila Place
  • Options to accrue flex time and flexible working arrangements
  • Generous leave entitlements - long service leave after 5 years
  • Scope for performance-based salary increases
