About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Asset Management Specialist to join our team at the Australian Road Research Board. As an Asset Management Specialist, you will play a critical role in the interpretation, recommendation, and management of transportation infrastructure assets across Australia and New Zealand.

Key Responsibilities
  • Work with clients to deliver key insights on the operational performance of their transport infrastructure assets
  • Assist in delivering next-generation thinking by providing strategic asset management strategies and functional solutions
  • Gain an understanding and create tailored maintenance plans and future works programs
  • Take your road surfaces and pavements knowledge to the next level by assisting to classify defects and select appropriate treatment methods
  • Develop your systems knowledge by using a range of pavement management, asset information, and client pavement management tools to investigate data
  • Assist in the writing and developing of technical reports
About You
  • Tertiary qualifications in Engineering or postgraduate in Asset Management or related areas
  • 3+ years' experience in asset management within rail, ports, or airports highly desirable
  • Some experience in delivering asset management strategies and plans to clients - or willingness to develop in this area
  • Previous experience and desire to gain knowledge in asset performance (interpreting data, modelling, and analysing trends)
  • Ability to manage multiple projects with limited guidance
  • Strong report writing, verbal, and written communication and presentation skills
  • Must have an Australian Driver's Licence due to the occasional site work required
