Geotechnical Engineer Role

We are seeking a Geotechnical Engineer to join our team in Brisbane. As a Geotechnical Engineer, you will be responsible for carrying out geotechnical investigations and characterisation, engineering geological and geomorphological terrain evaluation, landslide/slope risk assessment, slope stability analysis, ground improvement and remediation design, tailings dam design, management, and operation, instrumentation and monitoring data interpretation, construction QA/QC, and project management and delivery.

The ideal candidate will have between 2-6 years' experience with tertiary qualifications in Geology, Geotechnical or Civil Engineering. You should also have excellent report writing and communication skills, demonstrated experience delivering on time and on budget, an excellent attitude, well-developed creative, lateral thinking and problem-solving skills, motivation for continuous improvement and professional development, and post-graduate qualifications advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Geotechnical investigations and characterisation
  2. Engineering geological and geomorphological terrain evaluation

Requirements:
