About the Role:

We are seeking a talented geotechnical engineer to join our Brisbane office. You will work alongside a supportive team of engineering geologists, civil and geotechnical engineers who are leaders in their field. As a key member of our team, you will be empowered to develop your skills and technical understanding.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Executing services that range from assisting with preparing proposals, providing technical advice to clients and colleagues, and working in a combination of office-based and fieldwork activities.
  • Supported by senior consultants to develop detailed knowledge and understanding of geotechnical methods and techniques to solve complex problems.
  • Working on a range of technical tasks, including geotechnical investigations and characterization, engineering geological and geomorphological terrain evaluation, landslide/slope risk assessment, slope stability analysis, ground improvement and remediation design, tailings dam design, management, and operation, instrumentation and monitoring data interpretation, construction quality assurance/quality control, and project management and delivery.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Geology, Geotechnical or Civil Engineering.
  • Excellent report writing and communication skills, with demonstrated experience delivering on time and within budget.
  • An excellent attitude and ability to work within a dynamic environment.
  • Well-developed creative, lateral thinking, and problem-solving skills.
