Job Title: Stock Controller

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Stock Controller to join our Supply Chain - Logistics Team in Sydney.

The successful candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate stock levels, managing inventory movements, and optimizing warehouse operations to meet customer demands and achieve 99.9% On-Time-In-Full (OTIF) target.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Manage stock receipts, transfers, and disposals in coordination with Singapore Planning Hub and BATA Planning team.
  • Ensure timely and accurate processing of trade returns credits/debits and damaged goods in all warehouses.
  • Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies, ensuring minimal stock keeping discrepancies.
  • Support NSC and 3PL with processing of customer claims for order errors, damaged stock, and delivery issues.
  • Ensure 3PL carries out weekly tobacco beetle inspections and monitor results.
  • Manage logistics activities for New Product Introductions to ensure stock availability in warehouses at specified dates.
  • Perform regular warehouse reviews and audits of saleable and non-saleable stocks, warehouse conditions, and other relevant items.
Requirements:
  • Tertiary qualifications in Supply Chain Management or a related field.
  • At least 3 years general business experience in Supply Chain with a solid understanding of logistics, inventory management, and supply planning.
  • Proven analytical and management experience in Logistics or Supply Chain, preferably associated with 3PL activity.
  • Insightfulness and commercial acumen with the ability to quickly grasp business concepts and understand performance levers.
  • Solid SAP experience and advanced MS Excel skills.
  • Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
