Role Overview

Bauer Media is seeking an experienced Digital Food Content Creator to join its team in driving the success of Women's Weekly brand.

This full-time position will report into the Digital Managing Editor and be pivotal to creating engaging social food videos, digital content, and newsletters for the AWW brand and other iconic food brands.

As a key member of the team, you will work closely with cross-functional teams to ideate, create, and execute on-brand social food videos and other content across site, socials, and EDMs.

The ideal candidate will have minimum two years of experience in creating and editing food video content for social platforms, along with a strong understanding of and passion for food and food media.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ideate and execute on-brand social food videos and other engaging social and digital content for the AWW brand
  • Support the publishing cadence across social, digital platforms, and EDMs, collecting and creating assets
  • Work with DMEs, AWW Food Director, and social and search SMEs to drive and implement social content strategy for food
  • Collaborate with the food team to explore and execute new content opportunities (recipes, collections, video, stories etc)
  • Use data and insights to inform content strategy and track growth across site and socials

Requirements:

  • Minimum two years creating and editing food video content for social platforms
  • Experience working with digital platforms/content management systems
  • Strong understanding of and a passion for food and food media
  • Experience working with video editing tools ie CANVA, Photoshop, Capcut, Splice etc
  • A willingness to adapt and learn new digital/social content creation skills
  • Solid communication skills
  • Proven ability to work well independently and as part of a team

Salary Range: AU$60,000 - AU$80,000 per annum, depending on experience. Benefits include flexible working arrangements, professional development opportunities, and a supportive team environment.
