Job Overview

This is an exciting opportunity to join a leading manufacturer of portable buildings and infrastructure solutions across Australia. As a Business Development Manager, you will be responsible for building and maintaining strong relationships with clients in the education, oil & gas, and industrial sectors.

Key Responsibilities

  • Tracking jobs from warm databases and proactively sourcing new leads, projects, and business across NSW and Regional areas
  • Building and maintaining strong relationships with new and existing clients, and people within the industry
  • Being involved in the sales process, including contracts, negotiating, tendering, site requirements, and specifications
  • Working out and problem-solving what the client needs, coming up with layouts, pricing, and working with other departments within the business
  • Reporting and forecasting on targets and leads in sales meetings with local and other branches across Australia

Requirements

  • Construction degree and estimating experience
  • Analytical thinker with problem-solving skills and solution selling
  • Ability to identify and target key customers by understanding their needs/requirements
  • Strong time management and organisational skills working across multiple projects
  • Professional with commercial acumen, evaluating project profitability, and negotiating contracts
