Water Treatment Services Coordinator Job Opportunity

The role of Water Treatment Services Coordinator is a pivotal position in our client's team. As a skilled and passionate professional, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery and project management of the clients water treatment plant.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure efficient and cost-effective management of the client's water treatment plant, including operational management and capital works upgrades.
  • Provide specialist advice to staff and stakeholders on all water treatment management activities, including future planning, treatment plans, and reticulation network systems.
  • Maintain and operate all water treatment services and reuse facilities to meet licensing requirements and satisfactory standards.
  • Manage potential environmental impacts of the water treatment system to reduce pollution and ensure compliance with regulatory standards.
  • Oversee the client's Capital and Operating budgets, including expenditure and cost management, within allocated budget allocations.
  • Research, prepare, and present reports on matters related to Water Treatment Plant Services as directed.
  • Provide waste and liquid waste services to the community in a cost-effective manner, managing growth capacity and optimizing water resources for external and internal users.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service by measuring response times and adhering to customer service standards.
  • Optimise infrastructure maintenance through proactive asset management and adherence to industry best practices.
  • Ensure compliance with Work Health and Safety standards and implement a risk management framework.
  • Undertake special tasks and projects as directed by the Director of Infrastructure Services or the client.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Tertiary qualification in Water / Waste / Environment / Engineering, or equivalent.
  • Experience in the management of a large operational department - with a preference for waste and/or liquid waste.
  • Possession of Current C Class Drivers Licence.
