Home Care Assistants deliver essential services to clients residing in their own homes. Your role will involve providing top-notch care and support tailored to the unique preferences and requirements of each senior, enabling them to maintain their independence at home.

As a Home Care Assistant, you will ensure exceptional customer service. You will adhere to the tasks outlined in the Support Plan, which may include personal care, light housekeeping, and assistance with daily activities. Your mission is to provide services with compassion, respect, and dignity.

We seek proactive, energetic, and empathetic individuals to perform the following duties:

  • Assist clients with household tasks such as cleaning, laundry, and meal preparation.
  • Support clients with personal care needs, including bathing, toileting, and feeding.
  • Provide transportation assistance for clients to attend appointments, shop, and enjoy leisure activities.
  • Establish and nurture strong, effective relationships with clients and their families.
  • Comply with health and safety regulations to ensure the well-being of both yourself and our clients.

ABOUT YOU

We currently have openings for individuals who are dedicated to delivering outstanding care and enhancing the quality of life for our clients.

Essential Qualifications

  • Certificate III in Aged Care, Community Care, or equivalent.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Reliable vehicle with current registration and minimal third-party insurance.
  • Experience in home care.
  • Current First Aid Certification.

  • A passion for working with seniors in the community and an understanding of their needs and consumer-directed care.
  • A strong focus on customer service and effective time management skills.
  • The ability to work independently and safely within a client's home.
  • Good communication skills, including proficiency in written and spoken English.
  • Basic computer skills and experience with documentation.
