As a home care professional, you'll play a vital role in enabling older Australians to live independently and comfortably in their own homes.

Your Key Responsibilities:
  • Provide domestic support services to ensure clients' safety and comfort.
  • Assist with shopping and meal preparation to help clients maintain their independence.
  • Offer personal care services, including assisting clients with daily routines, managing medications, providing mobility assistance, and offering emotional support.
  • Drive clients to medical appointments or accompany them on shopping trips.
  • Engage clients in social activities and community events to promote their well-being and happiness.
  • Deliver complex care to clients with high needs, such as dementia.

Requirements:

  • A valid driver's licence and fully insured vehicle.
  • Certificate III in Individual Support or equivalent qualification.
  • Current First Aid Certificate (or willingness to obtain).
  • Up-to-date flu vaccination (required during winter months).
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Resilience and ability to work independently.
  • Availability to work at least 3 days per week, Monday to Friday.
