Skilled Clinical Nurse

We are seeking an experienced Skilled Clinical Nurse to join our passionate and supportive team on a permanent, part-time basis at our Clinic located in the Northern Beaches.
The role involves consultation-style appointment reviews with patients receiving treatment and has a great level of autonomy, whilst supported by the NUM, CNC's, CNE and our friendly nursing team.
Key Responsibilities- Provide excellent patient care, ensuring patients' physical and psychological needs are met.
- Effectively manage patients seen each day.
- Facilitate effective lines of communication with all staff and provide feedback and up-to-date information regarding patients.
- Ensure all patient interaction is documented, communicated, and actioned.
- Monitor and maintain procedures, protocols, practices, and clinical guidelines in line with best practice oncology nursing standards.
- Ensure medication management protocols are followed.
- Current and unrestricted registration as a Registered Nurse with AHPRA.
- Previous experience in Radiation Oncology and/or Medical Oncology is desirable but not essential, (we are happy to train the right candidate).
- Exemplary interpersonal and communication skills with an ability to demonstrate empathy for patients and their carers.
- Demonstrated clinical and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to plan and coordinate the clinical management of care.
- Commitment to and involvement in the application of quality improvement and evidence-based practice principles.
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as a team member.
