Job Title: Data Protection Professional

We are shaping our future through technology and innovation. Our Privacy Office delivers robust privacy guidance and processes across the organisation, identifies and mitigates privacy risk, and builds trusted relationships with customers and team members.

  • Assist in handling personal information according to privacy obligations and customer expectations.
  • Conduct Privacy Impact Assessments to enable the identification and mitigation of privacy risk arising from initiatives involving personal information.
  • Deliver practical and pragmatic privacy guidance to support and enable teams and their initiatives.
  • Manage privacy incidents and advise on best practice remediation recommendations.
  • Develop and deliver privacy training and awareness programs.
  • Support uplift activities in line with developing privacy regulations and technology advancements.
  • Assist in the smooth functioning of the Privacy Office on a day-to-day basis, supporting other members of the Privacy Team as required.
Skills Required:
  • Proven expertise in privacy law and regulations, specifically privacy acts, and local legislation.
  • Ability to conduct Privacy Impact Assessments and provide commercially relevant recommendations.
  • Experience in managing privacy incidents and implementing prevention strategies.
  • Excellent communication skills, with the ability to provide clear and concise advice on complex privacy matters.
  • Strong stakeholder management skills, with the ability to effectively work with a range of audiences.
  • Experience in developing privacy education, awareness, and training materials, promoting a compliance privacy culture.
  • Strong analytical skills to identify critical compliance issues, write and review policies, and develop mitigating controls.
