In this pivotal position, the successful candidate will report to the Manufacturing Engineering Team Leader and be responsible for developing and optimizing turning operations while tackling complex manufacturing challenges. This role is essential in driving continuous improvement initiatives and ensuring that we deliver high-quality outcomes while maintaining cost-effectiveness and precision.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement efficient manufacturing processes to improve productivity and quality.
- Collaborate with various teams to ensure seamless execution of manufacturing operations.
- Lead continuous improvement initiatives to drive process enhancements and efficiency gains.
- Mentor and develop junior engineers to enhance skills and knowledge.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Manufacturing Engineering, Mechatronics, or a related field.
- 5+ years of experience in manufacturing or process engineering, specifically in CNC turning or machining.
- Proficiency in CAM software such as Siemens NX or Mastercam, with a strong focus on turning operations.
- Exceptional problem-solving skills and a proactive approach to addressing technical challenges.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with a desire to mentor and develop junior engineers.
