Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Solid Plasterer to join our dynamic team. As a key member of our crew, you will be responsible for applying fillings, varnishes, stains, vinyl, and other coatings to walls and structures. Your expertise will be essential in creating a flawless finish that meets our high standards.

Key Responsibilities
  • Measuring and cutting plasterboards for pre-installations
  • Selecting and preparing adhesive mixtures
  • Lifting and positioning panels and securing to walls and ceilings
  • Preparing corner fittings such as measuring and cutting
  • Applying coatings of plaster and cement to exterior and interior structures
  • Installing fireproofing materials such as plaster, plastic cement, and others
  • Mixing and applying plaster coats and render structure fittings
  • Applying finishing coats and creating textures for decoration
  • Involve with the hiring and training of apprentices
  • Compliance with OH&S guidelines
Qualifications and Skills
  • Relevant qualifications
  • A minimum of one year's experience in a similar role
  • Knowledge of construction industry standards and regulations
  • Physical stamina and strength to perform tasks that may involve lifting, bending, and standing for extended periods
  • Attention to detail and ability to identify and repair imperfections or defects in plasterwork
  • Experience in preparing surfaces by cleaning, patching, and applying undercoats or bonding agents
  • Ability to mix plaster ingredients to the appropriate consistency and texture
  • Knowledge of safety procedures and guidelines to maintain a safe working environment
Salary and Benefits

The role offers a remuneration package ranging from $73,150, plus superannuation for a 38-hour work week. This competitive salary reflects the company's commitment to attracting and retaining top talent in the industry.
