At Ignite, we are currently seeking a highly skilled Legal Administrative Support Officer to join our team for a 12-month contract in Sydney CBD. If you thrive in fast-paced environments, have prior administrative experience, particularly in the Government sector, and possess strong interpersonal skills, this role may be an ideal fit for you.
About the RoleThe successful candidate will be responsible for administering case files, filing, data entry, and other general administrative tasks. Additionally, they will respond to enquiries in a timely manner, draft subpoenas, lodge documentation, and liaise with courts and counsel. A commitment to quality customer service is essential, as is attention to detail and maintaining sound professional working relationships with the public, stakeholders, and colleagues.
Key Selection Criteria- Prior experience in a similar role
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Great attention to detail
- Intermediate to Advanced Word and Excel skills
- Responsive and adaptable to high pressure environments
- Able to meet tight and/or changing deadlines
- Able to work autonomously and within a team
We provide competitive remuneration, a CBD location close to public transport hubs, exposure to a government environment, and full training. This opportunity allows candidates to pave the way for the next step in their career. Successful applicants must have full working rights and be able to obtain a BASELINE clearance. The estimated salary for this position is $60,000 - $80,000 per annum, commensurate with experience.
