Residential Boilermaker and Welder

Your new role as a workshop Boilermaker will involve carrying out scheduled maintenance and breakdown repairs to Caterpillar fleets. The Boilermaker is responsible for completion of service reports, identifying parts requirements whilst maintaining safe work practices and a safe work environment.
- Perform routine maintenance tasks to ensure the reliability of equipment and machinery.
- Carry out breakdown repairs in a timely and efficient manner.
The successful candidate will have experience working with structural steel and equipment components, and be able to read and interpret schematics and specifications accurately.
- Develop and implement plans to improve efficiency and productivity in the workshop.
- Collaborate with other team members to achieve common goals.
This is a permanent full-time residential position based in Kalgoorlie.
Key Responsibilities:
- Heavy-Rigid Licence required
- Proficiency in MIG, TIG and Arc welding techniques required
- Australian recognised Boilermaker or Fabrication Trade Certificate (essential)
