Boilermaker - Mobile Crushing

Founded in 2017, Axis Mineral Services Pty Ltd('Axis') specialise in crushing & ore sorting services for all requirements in Mining, Milling, Processing and Civil applications. Axis are currently running crushing circuits, ROM Management and general site works operations across a number of projects in the Goldfields regions, within the Mining and Civil Construction sectors.

We have opportunities for experienced Boilermakers to join our rapidly growing business in both FIFO and residential positions, based in Kalgoorlie and the Northern Goldfields.

2:1 roster, FIFO (ex-Perth) or Kalgoorlie Residential role

To be successful in this role, you will:

Hold a Certificate III in Engineering - Fabrication Trade, or equivalent;

Be able to fabricate/redesign chutes etc without OEM drawings, and generate drawings for future use

Be competent with Air arc gouging processes;

Be conversant with the use of Lincoln LN22 wire feed machines both as a fluxed core and solid wire process;

Be familiar with QT steels in particular hardox450 and hard facing of wear items;

Be able to work unsupervised and where needed willing to work on remote sites;

Have previous exposure to mobile crushing circuits, highly advantageous;

Be willing to carry out basic maintenance outside of welding duties when required;

Be able to work in a mixed environment including field and w/shop alongside other maintenance personnel;

Have strong attention to detail and quality workmanship;

Have strong communication and interpersonal skills;

Have demonstrated ability to work safely;

Have good time management and work prioritisation skills;

Be able to work in a team;

Have a current Drivers licence, HR preferable;

Be able to pass a pre-employment medical; and

Have or be able to obtain a National Police Check.
