Job Summary

Seeking a skilled and experienced driver to deliver freight safely between Childers and Brisbane.

This is a full-time permanent position requiring a 12-14 hour shift commitment.

Key Responsibilities
  • Freight Transportation: Safely transport goods from origin to destination, adhering to all traffic regulations and road safety guidelines.
  • Vehicle Maintenance: Regularly inspect and maintain the vehicle to ensure it is in good working condition.
  • Reporting: Accurately record and report any incidents, near misses or hazards encountered during work hours.
Requirements
  • Experience: Preference given to applicants with similar driving experience.
  • Refrigerated Freight: Familiarity with refrigerated freight transportation an asset.
  • WHS Practices: Demonstrated commitment to workplace health and safety practices.
  • Licence: Valid and current MC Licence required.
  • Certificate: BFM Certificate or willingness to obtain.
