In this role, you will play a critical part in managing Catering and Dining Services to ensure residents receive nutritious and balanced meals according to their dietary requirements and preferences. You will also be responsible for overseeing Environmental Management, ensuring cleaning and laundry services meet resident expectations, and managing Maintenance and Service Providers to ensure timely repairs and compliance with legislative requirements.
Your Key Responsibilities:
- Catering and Dining Services: Manage the provision of meals and dietary services to meet the needs of residents.
- Environmental Management: Oversee the Cleaning and Laundry Attendants to ensure high standards of hygiene and cleanliness.
- Maintenance Management: Prioritize and manage maintenance requests to meet and exceed resident expectations.
- Service Providers Management: Manage external contractors to ensure compliance with legislative and contractual requirements.
- Budget and Resource Management: Develop and manage budgets for your remit to ensure cost-effectiveness.
- Staff Management: Supervise and lead non-clinical staff, ensuring proper training, performance evaluation, and staff development.
We are looking for someone with:
- Experience managing staff in Aged Care or a similar industry.
- Strong problem-solving skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- A comprehensive understanding of the aged care industry.
