About the Role:

We are seeking a Funeral Services Relationship Builder to join our team at Invocare. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for building strong relationships with clients, providing advice and guidance on the range of options available to pre-plan their funeral.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Meet and build strong relationships with clients, providing advice and guidance on the range of options available to pre-plan their funeral.
  • Proactively source new client leads by building relationships with suitable partner businesses and the broader community.
  • Prepare quotations and pre-plan funeral contracts for clients.
  • Meet monthly activity and sales targets, working as part of a successful team.
  • Accurately hand over signed contracts to our fund office team for processing.
  • Represent the Guardian Plan brand at networking and public relations events as required.

Requirements:

  • Strong customer service skills with a 'can do' attitude combine with the ability to be empathetic and compassionate through difficult and emotional conversations.
  • Effective communicator, particularly when discussing highly emotive topics such as death.
  • Proven sales and business development experience.
  • Demonstrated networking skills with the ability to proactively identify new opportunities.
  • Competent in the use of computers, MS Office and customer management systems.
  • Strong administrative/contract skills with a focus on process and detail.
  • Unrestricted driver's license.
