Prepaid Funeral Specialist

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled Prepaid Funeral Consultant to join our team at Invocare. As a Prepaid Funeral Consultant, you will play a vital role in helping our client families plan and prepare for their funeral needs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Meet and build strong relationships with clients, providing advice and guidance on the range of options available to pre-plan their funeral.
• Proactively source new client leads by building relationships with suitable partner businesses and the broader community.
• Prepare quotations and pre-plan funeral contracts for your clients.
• Meet monthly activity and sales targets, working as part of a successful team.
• Accurately hand over signed contracts to our fund office team for processing.
• Remain responsible for administrative elements of the Prepaid Funeral Consultant role, including managing lead tracking, updating pre-plan arrangement details on our internal systems, and finalising contracts/correspondence with clients.
• Represent the Invocare brand at networking and public relations events as required.

Requirements:

• Strong customer service skills with a "can do" attitude combine with the ability to be empathetic and compassionate through difficult and emotional conversations.
• Effective communicator, particularly when discussing highly emotive topics such as death.
• Proven sales and business development experience.
• Demonstrated networking skills with the ability to proactively identify new opportunities.
• Competent in the use of computers, MS Office and customer management systems.
• Strong administrative/contract skills with a focus on process and detail.
• Unrestricted driver's license.
• You have a passion to make a difference in your community.
