We are seeking an experienced and passionate individual to join our reliability team as a maintenance fitter.

Job Description

This is a broad role that covers all aspects of manufacturing machinery and processes. You will oversee the factory equipment and maintenance, ensuring seamless operation with minimal interruptions to services across the site.

The successful candidate will possess a high mechanical and process knowledge base, with excellent analytical and creative problem-solving skills. They will be able to identify root causes and carry out continuous improvements to site safety, product quality and operational efficiency.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams, communicating effectively with stakeholders at different levels. Your ability to prioritize tasks and manage your time efficiently will be essential in this role.

Key Responsibilities
  • Identify and persist in seeking effective solutions to complex problems using analytical and creative techniques.
  • Communicate technically complex information to different audiences, ensuring understanding and compliance.
  • Respond to urgent requests for assistance from production and reliability associates, escalating issues when necessary.
  • Maintain accurate records of equipment condition, job progress and any issues affecting planned activities.
  • Provide support to shift teams by covering shifts when required and following through on technical issues.
