We are seeking an experienced and confident Medical Receptionist to work in a busy Specialist Women's Health Clinic. The successful candidate will be responsible for planning and scheduling appointments, greeting patients, assisting Practitioners with their daily needs, liaising with Medicare, Hospitals, and Health Funds, invoicing, receipting payments, banking, and backfilling for team members when required.
Key Responsibilities:- Planning and scheduling appointments
- Greeting patients and providing exceptional customer service
- Assisting Practitioners with daily tasks and responsibilities
- Liaising with external parties including Medicare, Hospitals, and Health Funds
- Managing patient invoices and receipts
The ideal candidate will have experience as a medical receptionist in a multiple doctor practice, preferably with specialist experience. They should possess strong communication skills, the ability to multitask in a busy environment, and intermediate skills in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
