About the Role
Alfred Health is seeking an experienced Occupational Therapist to join our team as a Mental Health Specialist. In this role, you will provide generic mental health assessment, intervention, case management, and therapy to children and young people aged 12-26 years who are experiencing a range of mental health difficulties.
Key Responsibilities
- Provide discipline-specific assessment, intervention, and group work collaboratively with clients, families, and other services to ensure best outcomes for development and recovery.
- Work within a culture that emphasizes family involvement and provides a supportive multi-disciplinary team environment.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that address the unique needs of each client.
- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive care and support for clients and their families.
Requirements
- Approved tertiary qualifications and eligibility for registration with the Occupational Therapy Board via AHPRA.
- Australian working rights.
- Full Covid-19 and 2024 Influenza vaccinations.
- Current Victorian Driver's License.
- Current Working with Children Check and be willing to undergo a Background Check.
