Weapons Disposal Specialist

We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented professional to join our team in facilitating the accurate recording, processing, and storage of firearms, prohibited weapons/articles, dangerous goods, explosive/security sensitive dangerous substances, and related exhibits submitted for destruction.
The ideal candidate will possess a high work ethic, attention to detail, focus on quality, and ability to work in an environment with high volume demands in tight time frames. They will also be able to multitask while maintaining quality, work collaboratively with others in a productive and respectful manner, and maintain positive relationships in a team environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Ensure the accurate recording, processing, and storage of firearms, prohibited weapons/articles, dangerous goods, explosive/security sensitive dangerous substances, and related exhibits.
- Support the Weapons Disposal Unit in providing weapons disposal services to law enforcement agencies.
- Maintain a high level of integrity and accountability in all aspects of the role.
- Australian Citizenship or permanent residency.
- Ability to pass a background check.
- High school diploma or equivalent required; degree in a relevant field preferred.
