We seek technicians and maintenance engineers with hands-on experience to join our network for upcoming Defence projects. Although there isn't an active vacancy at present, this is your chance to express interest in exciting opportunities to work on cutting-edge trials of prototype guided weapons in South Australia.

What You'll Do:
  • You'll support the Department of Defence, specifically the DSTG
  • Set up and conduct trials in laboratories and outdoor ranges
  • Perform hands-on tasks, including welding, using power tools, and maintaining specialist equipment
  • Assist with pre-trial planning, trial execution, and post-trial activities
  • Work in both physical environments and technical workshops
Requirements:
  • Australian Citizenship is mandatory for security clearances
  • You must have a strong mechanical aptitude and experience in technical workshops
  • Proficiency with tools, equipment, and software applications is required
  • A valid driver's licence is necessary
  • You may need to work in remote locations as needed
Desirable Skills:
  • Tertiary qualification in science or engineering is beneficial
  • Trade certificate, forklift licence, doggers licence, or first aid certification can be advantageous
