Business Leader for Health and Safety

Our organization is seeking an experienced HSE Business Partner to join our leadership team in Melbourne. In this role, you will provide specialist HSE leadership to implement industry-leading HSE outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:- Management of business HSE systems within the project, including implementation of new policies and legislative changes.
- Providing specialist HSE advice and support to the project team.
- Coaching and advising management and workers on meeting their work health and safety duties.
- Promoting a safe and positive work culture and role modeling safety leadership principles.
- Conduct of field inspections and safety interactions to verify HSE systems implementation.
- Coordinating workforce training requirements.
- Complete project HSE reporting internally and externally.
- Lead incident investigations.
- Support injury management and return to work processes.
- Demonstrated experience in an HSE leadership role in civils and electrical environments with a strong quality background.
- Working knowledge of OHS Legislation, Standards, relevant Compliance Codes, and ISO 9001, ISO 14001, and ISO 45001.
- Strong skills in auditing and investigation.
- A current driver's license.
- Ability to develop partnerships with a range of stakeholders.
- Strong written and oral communications skills.
- Relevant tertiary qualifications are highly regarded.
