Director of Indirect Tax Advisory Services
We are seeking an experienced Director to lead our indirect tax advisory services in Melbourne. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for shaping and enhancing business strategies to help clients solve tomorrow's problems today.
Key Responsibilities:
- Establish and maintain strong client relationships to drive revenue growth and develop complex commercial partnerships.
- Lead teams to design and implement strategies, operating models, processes, and compliance frameworks to manage indirect taxes and increase operational efficiency.
- Identify opportunities for tax optimization, credits, and refund recovery, as well as exposure reduction.
About You:
- You should have substantial experience in indirect tax within a professional services accounting firm, law firm, or large organisation.
- Strong technical skills in indirect tax, particularly in Stamp Duty.
- The ability to demonstrate leadership skills in market-facing initiatives, client delivery, and staff development.
