We are seeking a seasoned Senior Database Administrator to enhance our North American IT operations. In this pivotal role, you will oversee both production and non-production database environments, ensuring optimal performance and reliability. Your expertise will be essential in configuring, optimizing, and maintaining SQL Server database engines across diverse settings.

Key Responsibilities

  • Manage and sustain SQL Server databases in both production and development environments.
  • Deliver expert-level support and troubleshooting to resolve performance challenges and rectify issues.
  • Design, construct, and uphold reports and scripts tailored to the needs of stakeholders.
  • Engage in the engineering and design processes to enhance system functionality and introduce new features.
  • Collaborate with security and risk management teams to uphold the highest standards of platform security.
  • Participate in an on-call rotation for critical incidents, with occasional off-hours responsibilities.
