Job Title: Financial Operations Director

The position of Financial Operations Director plays a crucial role in leading the financial management of an organization, ensuring seamless financial operations and effective financial decision-making.

  • Leading annual budgeting processes to ensure alignment with organizational objectives;
  • Overseeing statutory compliance and managing day-to-day finance operations;
  • Coaching, mentoring, and upskilling team members to enhance their skills and performance;
  • Partnering with leadership to improve financial literacy and decision-making;
Key Responsibilities:

The successful candidate will be responsible for:

  • Managing rates, accounts payable and receivable, and treasury functions;
  • Implementing and optimizing financial systems, policies, and controls;
  • Ensuring strong governance, accountability, and financial sustainability;
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will possess:

  • Tertiary qualification in Accounting, Commerce, or Finance;
  • Minimum of 4 years' experience in a similar finance leadership role;
  • CA or CPA qualification (highly regarded but not essential);

The position requires a strong leader who can guide and empower teams, as well as high-level financial acumen. A proven track record in financial management, strategic planning, and team leadership is essential for success in this role.
