Case Manager Role

Key Responsibilities:
  • Collaborate with children, young people, their families, and carers to develop and implement case plans that achieve permanency goals.
  • Build strong relationships with families, ensuring every voice is heard and every need is met.
  • Support and monitor placements, guide carers in foster care journeys, and help implement effective strategies for children and young people in care.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
  • Relevant bachelor's degree in Social Work, Social Welfare, Psychology, or similar (qualification desirable but not essential for Aboriginal and/or Torres Strait Islander applicants with relevant experience).
  • Previous case management experience in an Out of Home Care (OOHC) / Child Protection setting.
  • Experience supporting Children & Young People with disability, who have experienced backgrounds of trauma, abuse, and/or neglect.
  • Working understanding of the NSW Permanency Support Program.
  • Understanding of trauma and its effects on children and young people.
