We are seeking an experienced Underground Project Engineer to join our team on a permanent full-time basis. Reporting to the Site Project Manager, you will be responsible for ensuring compliance with all Company policies and procedures & statutory requirements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure mining physicals are achieved as per contract/client schedules.
  • Ensure client requirements are met contractually whilst maintaining a positive and collaborative relationship with the client.
  • Use analysis and implementation of cost reduction initiatives.
  • Use analysis and implementation of revenue generating initiatives.
  • Management of Site Finances.
  • Short Term Scheduling of Operations.
  • Production Monitoring.
  • Monthly performance reporting.
  • Quality Assurance programme management.
  • Budget preparation.
  • Assist in the preparation of monthly claims and interface with the client.
  • Deputise for the Mine Foreman when requested.

Requirements

">

You must have a degree in Mining Engineering, a minimum of 5 years underground mining experience and hold the necessary qualifications, including the Underground Supervisors Certificate or 1st Class Mine Managers Certificate, Senior First Aid Certificate and valid Manual Australian Driver's License.

Salary Range

$120,000 - $180,000 per annum, depending on experience.
