Job Overview
Armaguard Group is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Security Support Officer to join our team. As a Security Support Officer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the safety and security of our facilities and personnel.
Key Responsibilities
- Access Control Management: Manage access control at Armaguard facilities, ensuring that only authorized personnel have access to sensitive areas.
- Security Information Dissemination: Disseminate security information to Armaguard branches, ensuring that all personnel are aware of potential security threats and risks.
- Security Audit and Compliance: Assist with security audits and compliance, ensuring that all security protocols are followed and that our facilities are secure.
- Guarding and Support Services: Provide guarding and support services to operational crews, ensuring that our personnel are safe and secure at all times.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work collaboratively with Road crew, managers, and police forces regarding security matters and tend to company assets.
Requirements
- Security Experience: Prior experience in security or a similar field will be highly regarded.
- Communication Skills: Ability to communicate effectively with members of the public and internal stakeholders across all levels.
- Computer Skills: Solid computer skills with the ability to provide written reports on security incidents.
- OH&S and Risk Management: Working knowledge and understanding of OH&S and Risk Management principles.
- Confidentiality: Proven capacity to operate in a high-pressure environment requiring acute levels of confidentiality.
- Credentials: Appropriate credentials: 1AF Security Licence, Category H Firearms Licence, and Driver's Licence.
