The Senior Clinical Project Manager will oversee the setup, conduct, and close-out of clinical trials. This includes both investigator-led and commercial trials.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversee and participate in the setup, conduct, and close-out of clinical trials.
- Support and provide guidance to a team of clinical trial professionals.
- Work closely with investigators, sponsors, Contract Research Organisations (CROs), and institutional partners.
- Represent the organisation in governance meetings and stakeholder meetings.
- Manage trial timelines and resource allocation across multiple concurrent studies.
- Actively participate in the negotiation of research agreements and manage clinical trial/study budgets.
- Contribute to all stages of the clinical trial lifecycle.
Required Skills and Qualifications
The successful candidate will possess the following key attributes:
- Tertiary qualifications in Health, Science or related discipline.
- Extensive relevant experience, with a minimum of 2 years at management level.
- Demonstrated experience in health research, including clinical trials.
- Strong understanding of the clinical study process and ICH-GCP guidelines.
- Sound knowledge of the clinical trials regulatory environment.
- Experience preparing health-related regulatory, ethics, and governance submissions.
- Experience supporting grant submissions and contributing to funding proposals/trial costings and research agreement negotiations.

This is a part-time role, 0.8-1.0 FTE, with a 12-month contract and potential for extension.
