Senior Financial Reporting Accountant

About the Role

The Senior Financial Reporting Accountant will lead the month-end close process, prepare consolidated financial reporting packs for global headquarters, and ensure compliance with IFRS and internal accounting policies. This role sits within a high-performing finance team and supports group-level reporting across multiple entities.

  • Lead month-end close and prepare consolidated financial reporting packs for global headquarters.
  • Ensure compliance with IFRS and internal accounting policies.
  • Manage the preparation of annual statutory reports across multiple entities.
  • Coordinate external audit processes, ensuring timely and accurate delivery of information.
  • Oversee governance of balance sheet and subledger reconciliations across local and overseas entities.
  • Review and post journal entries, approve payment runs and bank transfers.
  • Presentation of weekly cash flow and debtor reports to senior leadership and response to global treasury queries.
  • Champion internal controls and financial governance across the group.
  • Drive continuous improvement and capability development.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A CA, CPA, ACCA or equivalent qualification.
  • 10+ years' experience in financial reporting, consolidation, and audit within large multinational organisations.
  • Strong understanding of multicurrency balance sheets and intercompany reconciliations.
  • Advanced Excel skills and experience with ERP systems.
  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and ability to collaborate with international stakeholders.
  • Proactive, organised, and able to manage competing priorities under pressure.
