This role presents a unique opportunity to lead, develop, and manage on-site teams ensuring high standards of service, safety, and staff performance across a diverse university setting.

About the Role

This position is designed for experienced team-focused professionals with a background in leadership and workforce management.

  • Lead and manage a team of professionals in a dynamic 24/7 operational environment
  • Develop and implement training programs to enhance team performance and skills
  • Ensure compliance with all relevant laws, regulations, and industry standards
  • Monitor and improve team performance through regular feedback and coaching
  • Represent the university at key events and ensure seamless operations
  • Prepare and submit regular reports to internal stakeholders
  • Promote a culture of zero harm and ensure safe work practices

To be successful in this role, you will have:

  • Proven experience in managing and leading teams in a 24/7 operational or campus support environment
  • A current VIC Security Licence Unarmed & Crowd Control (required) and Control Room & Monitoring (advantage)
  • Knowledge of work health and safety and risk management practices
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • High level of computer skills including Microsoft products
  • A Working with Children's Check (Employee) and Current Victorian Driver's License
