">Job Description:
- As a Mechanical Maintenance Engineer – Fixed Plant, you will report to the Superintendent - Engineering and play a key role in supporting the operational Ore Processing Facility (OPF).
">Key Responsibilities:
- Liaise with maintenance, reliability, and production teams to deliver technical solutions.
- Lead and support operational and capital projects.
- Conduct Root Cause Analysis (RCA) on plant downtime events.
- Drive continuous improvement and defect elimination initiatives.
- Ensure compliance with Health & Safety standards and Change Management processes.
- Monitor and improve quality assurance of critical mechanical processes.
- Contribute to budget planning and cost control for your area of responsibility.
">Requirements:
- Tertiary qualification in Mechanical Engineering.
- Minimum 3+ years' experience in fixed plant maintenance or engineering roles.
- Background in hard rock mining and mineral processing.
- Strong understanding of WA mining legislation and safety regulations.
- Proficiency in SAP or similar CMMS platforms.
- Excellent planning, coordination, and stakeholder engagement skills.
- A proactive mindset and desire to grow within a supportive team.
">What You'll Get:
- $100-$110/hour + superannuation.
- Starting on 6 months with likely extension.
- 8:6 FIFO roster from Perth or DIDO from Port Hedland.
- Work in a technically challenging environment with strong leadership.
- Join a site that has exceeded production targets for FY24-25 and now looking to double their outcomes for FY25-26.
- Get exposure to a unique mining environment utilising advanced processing technology to produce high grade concentrate.
