Early Intervention Specialist

We are seeking a skilled Early Intervention Specialist to join our multidisciplinary team.

As an Early Intervention Specialist, you will play a vital role in delivering evidence-based early intervention and therapy services to support children and families.

Your responsibilities will include:

  • Conducting comprehensive assessments to determine goals and areas of need.
  • Providing information, education, and support to clients and families.
  • Developing functional, routine-based goals with clients and families.
  • Delivering evidence-based therapy interventions and resources.
  • Reviewing progress and setting new priorities in collaboration with clients and families.
  • Fostering inclusion and participation in community activities.
  • Collaborating closely with key stakeholders and ensuring ongoing communication and support.

To be successful in this role, you will possess the following skills and qualifications:

  • Tertiary qualifications in Psychology with current registration with AHPRA.
  • A passion for making therapy fun, engaging, and meaningful for families.
  • The ability to provide counselling and offer knowledge of therapeutic interventions to children, young people, and parents.
  • Experience in completing risk assessments and mental health assessments is desirable.
