Occupational Therapist Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity to join our practice as an Occupational Therapist. We are a neuroaffirming, family-centred practice in Canberra that supports children, young people, and families with a focus on strengths, regulation, and practical strategies.

As an Occupational Therapist, you will provide evidence-informed occupational therapy services to support the unique needs of each child and family. You will complete assessments and reports in a family-friendly manner, working collaboratively with families, schools, and Allied Health Assistants to design and implement effective therapy plans.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide high-quality occupational therapy services to support the diverse needs of children and families.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and develop comprehensive reports to inform therapy planning.
  • Collaborate with families, schools, and other healthcare professionals to design and deliver tailored therapy programs.
Requirements
  • AHPRA registration as an Occupational Therapist (or soon-to-be).
  • Passion for delivering neuroaffirming practice and commitment to ongoing professional development.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with ability to work collaboratively with diverse stakeholders.
