We are seeking passionate and dedicated professionals to join our Specialised Residential Care Team.

The SRC program provides consistent support and care to young people aged 0 to 18 who have experienced significant trauma, abuse and neglect.

This program offers a safe and nurturing environment, enabling young people to develop and foster appropriate life skills and social abilities.

You will assist young people to:

  • Settle into a stable home environment
  • Create a secure and consistent primary relationship
  • Develop independent living skills
  • Increase their capacity and links to the local community
  • Achieve their goals and aspirations

About the Role

- Form strong attachments with young people

- Experience working with young people with complex trauma

- Developing case plans and documenting progress

Requirements

- Hold a minimum Certificate IV qualification or be actively working towards a recognised relevant qualification

- Be willing to complete a Working with Children Check, First Aid & CPR and National Police Check

- Be prepared to undergo a Psychological Assessment

- Be eligible to work in Australia

- Be available to work afternoon/night shift including an 8-hour passive (overnight) sleep
