Position Summary:

The Business Analyst will be instrumental in evaluating and documenting essential business processes, ensuring alignment with organizational objectives and industry benchmarks. This role demands a blend of analytical expertise, meticulous attention to detail, and exceptional communication abilities.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Requirements Gathering: Engage with stakeholders to collect and document comprehensive business requirements for ongoing projects.
  • Data Analysis: Examine current commission frameworks, sales metrics, and financial documentation to uncover trends, deficiencies, and potential enhancements.
  • Process Mapping: Create detailed process diagrams and workflows related to commissions, ensuring precision and clarity.
  • System Integration: Collaborate with technical teams to ensure a thorough understanding of existing integrations.
  • Testing and Validation: Formulate and implement testing strategies to verify commission calculations and guarantee accuracy in payouts.
  • Reporting: Assist the project manager in generating project reports and managing risks and issues.
  • Training and Support: Offer training and assistance to end-users regarding the new commission system.
  • Continuous Improvement: Identify and propose opportunities for enhancing processes and efficiencies within the commission framework.

Qualifications:

  • Education: A Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Finance, Information Technology, or a related discipline.
  • Experience: A minimum of 3-5 years in a Business Analyst role, ideally within the financial services industry.
  • Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving capabilities with a sharp focus on detail.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, adept at conveying complex information succinctly.
  • Project Management: Proven experience in managing projects and effectively handling multiple tasks and deadlines.
